I am glad your children are so important to you. I focused my entire life to raising mine, it has made all the difference. They can tackle anything. You will marvel at your efforts in time! sam

I do see the need to spend time with children, even
the older ones. I did spend more time with mine when they were small for sure than the time I spend with them now, but then I was able to be home with them when they were small and then I went through a divorce and had to become a single parent. I had to go to work and they spent a lot of time with their grandmother - thank God for her. Now my new hubby is a stay at home - he is disabled - and he spends more time with them than I do, it seems. But what time we do spend together is quality time. I try to make sure of that, play a game of scrabble or something. But just yesterday we spent at least an hour just sitting together in the living room. Nobody said much, the older boys were visiting and had their ipods cell phones and computers going. But it was nice just being together.
