Taps
Drinking the java at just after 8:00 p.m. - how do you do that?

I hope all goes well for your sister, and I enjoyed the photographs and your words about Betty.

Hello Taps..
...sorry to hear about your sister. I'm sure you'll be the support she needs...there is no other relationship like the one between sisters...hard to even describe.

First of all my very best wishes for Sis! And that wrestler lady might have some fun tales to tell! I have never ever been interested in it, I can't tell a wrestler from a fat guy (or gal, lol), but I understand it's a rather strange world all to it's own...

Taps, what a great entry. The idea of just kicking back is something I need to do! I am glad it looks good for your sister. I have one sister living and I treasure her dearly. It warmed my heart when i read your two were just being sisters. I know that feeling and it is wonderful. The neighbor was a great story. We just never know until we strike up a conversation! Have you made an acquaintance with the new neighbor boy. I have kids I fuss with in my complex. They are so darn cute and full of life. Have a pleasant and as always it is a pleasure to read you! sam

TAPS,
I stopped "adding color" to my hair about two years ago. So, now, I'm a dude who looks his age but doesn't act it. I've got a whole lot of growing up to do.

Re: My thoughts are with your sister
Thank you, malcolm. The "C" word is always a shock and it was especially traumatic to us as we lost a beloved sister, a few years back, to malignant melanoma. But, she is handling it well for now and we are very positive about the outcome.

Feenix, I stopped adding color when I retired at 67. I wanted to act my age. LOL

TAPS,
I just became aware that you are the blogger formerly known as "Tapsel-T". So, it is no wonder why I like your postings as much as I do. Here on Blogit, back in the day, I was an avid reader of "Tapsel-T's" posts.

I'm crossing my fingers for your sis.
Thyroid issues run in our family, so I've read about it -- thyroid cancer is considered the most curable, so if she has to suffer with any at least this one can be beaten. Love the peaceful evening you described. :)

TAPS...................
I'm sorry your sister is ill, but the long-term results after treatment sound encouraging. I'm glad she has you by her side, certainly that's a plus. It's great to read your blog again. You are such a good writer and very positive. I wish your sister well on her road to recovery and I hope you both will keep on celebrating each good note along the way. Take care. Love, Maggie

Wow, that is amazing!
And, what you say is true. A few days ago my niece said she didn't know some of her relatives as they didn't have that much in common. I thought about that and said:: you can only know if you have something in common by getting to know them. If we don't make the time, we will never know. Yes?

Wow Taps... I saw a documentary a year or so ago with all the
Women wrestlers from the early days and Betty was one of them. They were having a reunion. They were such pistols. They never made nearly the money the men did, of course. I'm happy to hear your sister has such a great chance of beating her illness. Enjoy your quiet. I have a migraine and I'm putting it to bed. Goodnight
