...yep...you're right...you're definitely right...what people don't understand...it is not either/or...it is both...it's called polarity...the eternal play of opposites...pain/pleasure, bad/good, dark/light...always was...always will be...one can be tossed about...to and for...or one can focus on, fixate, attach himself to a polarity... Aw, I'm so saddened by this poem.
It's like the deterioration of innocence...how utterly sad. You have a great write here, Pat - it shows a lot of dimension. I hope you're doing all right!!
