I have to agree with Kooka on this...
Morality is a choice we make regardless of whether or not we have religious belief to make us behave in a civilized manner.
I have more respect for the morality of a person who chooses to be moral, who lives ethically and honestly because they know innately that this makes a more balanced, rewarding life.
I am not impressed with someone who behaves morally out of the fear of authority, be it social, legal or religious.
Fear, in any form, is not love.

This is way off
There is nothing at all out there to defend such a view. If anything the
statistics seem to suggest that believers are more likely to commit crimes than
non-believers. It really bothers me when anyone tries to make that claim. It
has been proven too often to be far from being true.
