The sisters thing is such a mix of love and rivalry, but in the end
your sibs are the only one who get those inside family jokes and can remember the things that shaped your lives growing up. Who else remembers your mother's cooking - or lack? It's good to read this happy day's news, this breather between situations.

kabu, If my sis ran off to Australia to be with a man she had never seen in person but only conversed with per email it would take me some time to get used to the idea and I would be very sceptical of the fellow who would encourage her to do so. I'm glad that your family is finally beginning to see that you have chosen well.

This is wonderful news. It is difficult in the best of times for family to be disconnected just because you want and deserve a good relationship finally after years of abuse, selfishness and purely un-Godly actions.
