I heard about another stupid Supreme Court decision that occurred today
but I can't remember what it was. Sorry. I imagine they'll be discussing it on Stephanopolus's show or on
Meet the Press tomorrow morning....

vogue, both fear and death come from many things and in many ways. Both are a part of life. Guns seem to be the source of a lot of both.

Re: no to guns
Thanks for your opinion, Norwood. I'm of the same mind. I wish that more people would choose some other way to deal with their fears than with keeping guns about. Often those that live with a gun, die by a gun.

TAPS.... I'm doing just fine......flexing my knee now and am scheduled to start putting weight on my leg after the next visit on July 10...then it's learning to walk all over....but I'll make it happen! I have now lost 48 pounds, lifting weight for my arm strength, and am in as good a shape as I was when I was 35!! But I think Nutrisystem would have been a hell of a lot cheaper and less painful! Thanks so much for asking!!

TAPS. ...over here in Canada,as you know I'm sure, we have very strict gun
control, but if a person wants one, they're available on the street of any city (eg.Toronto)...
I have mixed feelings on this whole issue..

I liked your comment about not choosing the right. That is what freedom is. It is not taking away others rights because you choose not to exercise yours. I appreciate the ruling because it is far more than a right to 'pack' as you said. It is ruling on the constitution as it was written. Right more people are killed by those carrying a gun than by those not I would consider that a no-brainier. I would by willing to bet there are more killed who did not have guns than those who did.

Masterful bit of reasoning there, in your answer to vicki, LOLOL! As far as gun ownership is concerned, your Supreme Court is right, imho. In this country guns are severely restricted everywhere, and more people are killed with guns in the streets then ever before...

Re: Taps... I am still reeling over their decision not to allow the death
vickips, rights are often seen as wrongs by those who are on the right side of the rights. Those who are on the wrong side of the rights will always take advantage of their wrong rights and laugh in the face of the right rights.

Re: I am a supporter of the 2nd
You are one of many, mysteria. I also am thankful for my rights. But, I do not choose to exercise my right to carry a gun just because I can. More people are shot by people carrying a gun than they are by people not packing one.

I am a supporter of the 2nd
amendment and I practice my right to bear arms in a very mindful and responsible fashion. I believe a well armed populace is the best defense against tyranny. One thing I will never surrender is my Freedom. I take that VERY seriously.

HAHAHAHA, I'm sorry but I can't get used to thinking of you in a wheel chair. You are so vibrant and funny, I forget that you are in agony at times. May I ask what kind of a prognosis you have for your injuries? If you'd rather not talk about that, I definitely understand.
