I know that men & women cheat, but I have reason for my contemplations...
Why a man cheats is a question frequently on my mind these days.  On Sunday night my husband told me that he slept with another woman & I am extremely hurt & feel completely ill, but my analytical side has to know the why & how behind everything.  I am a woman & used to work with electronics.  My mind is wired differently than most women, I guess.  I don't care about fashion & make-up much & never have.  Things have been so crazy this week & my mind just keeps on reeling.

Why does one cheat?

It's not just men that cheat. It's women too. I have a friend who cheats on her husband and claims it's because she doesn't love him anymore and there is no more passion in their marriage. I'm not sure if she is looking for intimacy with another human being, or if she just has a desperate need for sex that her husband can't satisfy.

"Why not get out of the marriage?", I've asked her. "Because of the kids" is her answer.

Maybe that's how she justifies it to herself, but if she is really concerned about the kids, she should consider how hurt they would truly be if they were to discover that she has been unfaithful to their father.

So why do people cheat? Lack of commitment, lack of respect for the other person, lack of self control, lack of morals, lack of hope...etc. The list is a long one. But one reason you won't find on the list is "because it's the right thing to do".

as they said; Man is polygamous by nature...it's their escape goat..Man being tempted by other woman? My opinion is...(just my opinion) he didn't love his wife enough to be truthful to her...enough to respect her as a woman to be loved. He is not contented anymore...or just plainly being tempted..or meeting the right woman at the wrong time...
