Oh Shelly, I could practically see Langston Hughes' "I, Too" inspiring your lines, but I also felt "Dream Deferred" hidden in the corners of your poem and I just sighed. I love Langston Hughes and I thought your ode was a beautiful tribute to him and his works. We ALL sing, and we ALL are - America!
