Blogging keeps me moving with my writer's block, writing the second draft of my screenplay this summer. I revised it to use film devices, and now I finish it. Take care!

If you are serious about writing your book I would like to suggest "How to Tell a Story" by Peter Rubie and Gary Provost ISBN: 0-89879-809-4. I use it and am very impressed! Have a great day! sam

Why a book? Short stories help develop your writer's eye.
You learn characterizing, bringing your actors to life, and set a mood in what would be a chapter from a full length book. If you get a chance to do some people watching, (since you're looking for inspiration) pick someone you see at a coffee shop or the library or filling their gas tank and think about who they are, what they've seen and done. Makes for a much happier day than games and repetitive pointless exercises.
