Isn't funny Troosha
how sometimes silence can be so deafening and yet music, no matter how loud, can serve as background without being noticed! Excellent post my friend; thank you and God bless

Interesting world.
The high pitch of visceral and solemn sentience
has me reaching
for the mute button
but I turn the volume knob instead
and listen
It’s not so bad
In fact it resembles lullaby
I thought that was a bit funny, but isn't life interesting. Sometimes things are not really what we think they are. Nice poem.

Whoa....I thought I could actually
hear the deafening realities crashing my senses all at once as I read your poem!!! I forget how much we enjoy living in dreams and semi-dreams, where it is so much more peaceful and quiet because it is within our own control. But when reality gets the best of us, it feels as if everything is falling down on you, the voices in your head begins to scream, and everything just becomes too loud. Then I really do want to reach for that mute button, as your poem mentions....but reality isn't too bad buzzing in your head once you get used to it...

This was a wonderful poem!!

That's just wonderful Troosha! The quote is very good too-I can vouch for
that being true! I live within three feet of therailway track. So used to the noise after all these years-but on xmas day-no trains on track! We can here a pin drop-and-we cannot sleep properly-listening for any sound. Chris.
