Sounds awesome... exactly why I always have a camera at hand...
or kick myself if I don't... Oh, the fine shots I have missed for either lack of camera, or a moment's hesitation...
The one time I flew over that area, it was night, and we flew through the northern lights--this was before I really caught the photobug... so, no pictures... but I do recommend the night flight!

Beautiful shot!
I remember flying over the shoreline of Greenland, which isn't very green, especially not in winter, lol! We were a lot higher, of course, but it was uncommonly clear and saw an amazing pattern of white and blue. Unfortunaltely, I didn't have my camera on me...

It makes me crazy to not get a window seat! One of my card lines is called "Window Seat" and is all photos from commercial flights.

OH WOW!! I love it!! Thank you! I love to look at shorelines from the air. I could just hang up there and gaze at the shorline for hours and hours. Thank you Ciel!
