I feel the same way about Atheism..........I am thankful (or grateful) that I have had an "awakening".........it has freed me in every possible way. But, I have 5 siblings whom all think I "have a screw loose". I cannot explain how I was open to the truth and they all remain commited to Catholicism. We have talked about it..........and they continue to express the belief that "there must be a god that created the universe". I don't argue the point with them any longer.....doesn't change anything. I sent my brother Sam Harris' book "The End of Faith"..........his wife threw it in the garbage. She didn't want it in "her" house........and it's funny......I think she discourages my brother from associating with me. No.....really, that part of it IS funny........hysterical.
