I remembered a quote my grandmum said lots.."it isn't the years it's the mileage.." She would always say this when she knew there was going to be some type of drama in the family while I was young..(Mostly with the older "kids" lol)

Love it, love it.. I love it.
I love this. I like the idea of carrying with you both the agonizing moments and the fun times too. I am not able to quote it verbatim. But I love that thought. This is one good poem. I have to give it an ENCORE and a

Such wisdom here my dear Troosha
a beautiful and most expressive piece; as an aside I have to say I love my baggage - it's a constant reminder of what NOT to repeat! Thank you my friend and God bless

Troosha, time to reach into that bag and make use of what's been stored
for "medicinal" purposes...there's something in the air and like others on Blogit, it's very frustrating to deal with..

Unpack those bags one at a time, otherwise you will be
overwhelmed and you will say "to hell with it" ... you will carelessly shove it all back into the bags, crap hanging out all over the place, and carry it into the next relationship. Now what? All your chit's hanging out while you are acting all together. Baggage sucks, but I got me some anyway!! Another thought provoking write Troosha :)

I love the line "Hold them up to light as you would a gem". Your poem is simply beautiful, a
captivating way to dispose of baggage. Thank you for this gem.
