Oh man!
My sympathy to you for the lost of someone that you cared about. Here, please allow this comedy screenwriter to leave you with quote of Charlie Brown in the comic strip Peanuts by Charles Schulz. He left the world too but not personally to you and me. "Good grief!" In other words, behind every cloud there's a silver lining. It seems hopeless now. However your sorrow grows positively if you remain active in your normal routine. Cherish his memory. I know. I lost both my parents. I saw my mother on a respirator, but for only five days. All this length a comment means that you wrote an excellent poem, sir. Best wishes, and take care. All right?  It is. healthy and wise.

This is a wonderful write.  I am sorry for your loss, yet it seems that his spirit lives in all of you now.  He lives on in your memories and in your learnings from him.  Continue to thrive in that spirit.  Beautiful poem!
