- Go to Father's day and I hope all the guys had a nice day.
Fathers Day in Sept., Any time is a great time to honor him. In Childhood I think my father respected, enjoyed and cursed his time on the farm. I know from his stories, the days were long, and playing in the field was treasured. But when his Aunt and Uncle said to him, this is your future, farming that is, my father ran away, somewhere between the age of 12 and 14. He went back, temporarily. Down the road of course, my father cut his own path in this world, away from farming. Maybe he saw no future in it back in the 1940s, As a young boy he knew he wanted to see the world. I love reading your stories about your family.

Hope I wasn't to long winded.
Peace, and God bless you Kabu and Wiley one. Wiley one, I pray you'll feel better soon.

Love Always, Vicky

Re: Kabu
Wiley prays for his boys too NO. He hasn't had one word He has just let them rest in God's care. If they come back it will be wonderful but he expects nothing.

Such a lovely sweet story. I hoped for a call from the boys to your house for their father. I am still praying. Prayers get answered. I know from experiences.

Your Dad sounds like he was a great guy Kabu... he had to be to raise such a fine daughter :-) Thank you for sharing that wonderful bit of your past with us. I hope Wiley is doing better and you are more rested. Sorry if I have not been around much, things at home are hectic, but I always have you in my thoughts and my prayers. Be well...

kabu, I love Dad stories any day of the year, but Father's day is so special to me because so many bloggers write about their Dad's and so often the tales remind me of my own Dad and how special he was to me.
