Comments on THE FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN YOU AND I

Hmmm....

I generally strive to make others feel accepted; I am often told that I am nonjudgemental, compassionate, and easy to talk to.

However, I am also frequently told that I'm different, complicated, and a headcase.  LOL!

And at times I will say things to shock people, just because I like to force them out of their comfort zone every now and then.

I think we do naturally gravitate toward people that are like us....
but that said, I find that many of my closest friends do tend to be the ones that are different. They have something extra to bring to the table, a different way of thinking. I do believe everyone in life has something to teach you if you just open yourself up to it.

I quoted Janis Joplin in my Jounaling post

recently in which she says I'd rather be hated

for who I am then loved for who I pretend to be.

Ariala
This is a good post as usual, a strongly questioning one. I am not sure. i am who I am regardless and often I am among many who do not see things as I do. Thankfully I have learned I have nothing to do with how others see things and I maintain my vision regardless. I  expect that they can think anyway they see fit. I express my opinion some accept and some reject it. So be it. I have no less respect for those who reject me than those who accept me. I learned that here when I used to get so much rejection and I fought back. Now I welcome their vent and their stopping the vent; whatever!

I don't think I do - "fit in", that is.  But I like it that way and I'm most comfortable amidst people who are slightly different.

Good questions --- leaves me to ponder.  I work out in the field of life --- I blend very well with all that God brings to me.  I try to.  I don't want to offend His creations ~ His very heart.  I try and if I don't do so well, then I think about it.  and try to figure out what I'm thinkin'...you know Ariala?  because there will always be differences, as we are all created 'unique' ~ just a humble thought ~ Good blog, helped me to ponder. Have a great Day ~ Elyse
