Xeno and Trans
Xeno: I find very little difference in our approaches to this subject. This article hits the nail on the head as does the one above.
Transcendental: Concerning Paul. We have to remember the context in which these guys wrote their letters. They lived long before the "emancipation of woman" and were obviously products of their time. They were men, living in a world dominated by men. You cannot disregard all they said because of their general social programming. I find this in a lot in the work by people who want to deny the enormous contribution these people have made to the moral and religious tendencies in their time and beyond. You throw the baby out with the water. If you cannot handle Pauls' limited perspective you can hardly expect anybody to treat you as a reasonable, tolerant and mature person.

Re:
Oh man... you had to mention Saul/Paul? Don't even get me started on that delusional homophobic moron.

after all Saul was not a Christian in the beginning...He even
persecuted God...and yet His letters can be found now in the Holy
Bible...so not impossible for an atheist to become Saint...and anybody...
