very well expressed
I think people do have a problem thinking of the soul and body as seperate, and that the soul can exist without the confines of the flesh. But if you read the Bible, that's what it states.

I'm at a standstill within your words. They have great meaning behind them and that blows me away. This is something I must allow to marinate in my mind a little more...

Dave, an interesting belief ...
I can't research the "religion" behind it. I think Eastern. Get this. An injured or diseased body doesn't seem to fit the concept of heaven in Western or Eastern religion. In the Bible, the only example of "the spiritual body" is the body of Jesus when he returned for 40 days. Incredibly he had his flesh wounds. Heaven and the presence of God might overshadow bodily and personal concerns. But your post reads interestingly. Keep us informed.

This is correct
If we went to heaven as soon as we died, what's the purpose of Jesus'
Second coming to resurrect us from the grave and judgement day? Another
off guard teaching that we don't think about. This is why we should study
to show ourselves approved. Great post, once again.

You are absolutely right.when we die, it's not our body that will go to
heaven but our soul, our spirit. Our body will return to dust.Though some
Christians don't believe on this, they have their own teachings, their own doctrine. But as Roman Catholic I believe,
that, when I die, my soul either go to heaven, purgatory or in
hell, depending on MY doings here on EARTH...THE HEAVEN OF THE DARK
SIDE. Only Jesus Christ, when he died, resurrected and ascended to heaven both body and soul, and only Virgin Mary assumed to heaven both body and soul too.My friend from other religion (from Tunisia)told me that in their Holy Book,Jesus Christ didn't really died .I asked my Islam friends here in the Phil. about this and she confirmed it...I don't disagree with them,it's their own doctrine...Whatever it is(did I sound confused?)...i have to respect it. But in my own opinion and belief, Jesus Christ,God's Only begotten Son,sacrificed by dying on the Cross to redeem the world .
Soulbuilder..I would be very happy if you can share more of your knowledge about these.I know I can gain more knowledge from you regarding Religion and Spirituality.Thanks...
