Thanx much Sam.In 10 yrs of sermons in USA, this scripture made no sermons
I was wondering perhaps it was politically troublesome. But we cannot cut away parts of the bible just because we think it may make some people defensive, confused about their chosen status, or the equalityof all people before the Cross/God!

A the end of the day it does not matter what anyone thinks because in verses 24-29 God is clearly calling both Jews and Gentiles. To support this Paul quotes several Old Testament passages. Even when the Lord was bringing Israel out of bondage He had endearing relationships with other people. People who served Him in the fullest! Just my thoughts. sam
