My little cottage here becoming overrun, is consumed by much literature.

I would read from 80 to 150 books a year
but then I read any chance I have and I have a pretty good memory. I love books.

I think I read
about 10 to 15 books a year. But Wow! You've made up for the years you were short by the 70 books! Sometimes I have three books going at once but mostly I am just a slow reader, unlike my sister who skims, I don't know how one can skim, perhaps I don't read books boring enough to skim! I read every word! Wait! Text books, I skimed, yes, aren't they the ones you are supposed to read every word?

Good for you for doing as much reading as you do. As Moon said, you're shaming me into picking up a book......

One can't write without reading, as my English professors used to say!

Reading is my tear tissue and my joy stick in whatever life throws at me. I know exactly how you feel and I can nver go to sleep without a book by my side and in my hand until it drops. Thanks very much for your comment.
