Xeno-x -I must say that the lucidity in your writing and clear articulation
in this post is impressive.
I can take a stab at answering a couple of the questions you pose: "So why isn't this god so powerful now? Why doesn't this god do what he did in the past?"
When I asked similar questions as a child, I got the standard answer "they were holy times" but in reality, the common denominator is the collective ignorance of mankind at that point in history. It is very likely that most people alive back then believed all of the things God supposedly did were possible. With a bit of editorial license motivated by typical human agendas, we have the whoppers found in ancient religious doctrine.

thanks for sharing. I had no idea who the fool was calling us card carrying members of the Crispy Critter Club losers. In fact... probably good to leave it at not knowing.
