I am 72 years old and a Methodist for that long. I am a born again Christian and my church has so many out reaches that provide everything from counseling to food and clothing.. Yes we treat people with love and respect. My pastor is a young man full of love, fire and brimstone. I love T.D. Jakes.

unity comes
from treating other people as you would be treated

there are tens of millions of Americans who are not treated as Jesus tells us

and it seems you are one of those who do not see this.

no wonder Rev Wright is angry.

Re:
Amen! I have never heard a 'man of the cloth' use such words. Guess that tells us that Pfleger is really not a man of the cloth!?

When I was a child I remember a pastor screaming hell fire and damnation in a rant similar to the priest. But I attended Catholic Mass for 26 years prior to becoming a Quaker and in these last 45 years have never heard anything close to what the priest was doing. I could not finish watching because he was in the wrong cloth for the address he was making. I am embarrassed for his shortsightedness in the forum he chose and the and the cloth he chose to adorn.  sam
