That sort of discipline is unacceptable anywhere. What is a person doing teaching that has no better handle on how to discipline than that.

The teacher was wrong and should be disciplined according to the rules in place for that system. I don't believe it is a racial issue(most of her students were white) as much as it was a disicipline issue. sam
