Re: Excellent Post!
I rather enjoy the image that conjured:  an entire generation chasing a shiny quarter around the room.  Every generation complains about the next, and every generation fails miserably to learn from the generation before.  But my hope is this-generation next: please confound our expectations.  Everyone expects you to be tuned out and follow the path of least resistance, perhaps even the path of who cares?  Prove the masses wrong and educate yourselves before you become part of the process.  Vote for whomever you like, but make sure you know what you are getting when you do.  Free choice only works when it's informed choice.

Excellent Post!
You hit the nail on the head. This is unlike other elections.Everyone is voting for the wrong reason and it will go down as the election that wasn't. The youth are the only ones who have a reason why they are voting for who they will vote for and that is Obama. The rest is for the worng reasons. As a Republican I get to vote for a liberal with an "R" beside his name. Then the Dems get to battle it outbecause they do not want the other Dem to get the prize. The youth will vote for the "cool" guy, the one who promises everything good but is actually worthless. The youth have no idea of what they are doing at all. They go for the first shiny thing then vote for it. They actually think they are being told the truth. It sounds good to them so they are hook, line and sinker on it. So we may just have a president voted in by the youth of America who are completely clueless.
