Keep Up the Good Work!
It is frightening to me that a woman's right to choose is in the precarious position that it is. But fascism is raising its ugly head once again in America, and fundamentalists have taken power in Washington. Your blog is courageous, and I applaud you for it.
One of my good friends--my roommate at the time--was raped one night as she was leaving a bar. She was in no financial position to take care of the child (should it come to term); was not receiving support from home; was not in any emotional place to adequately care for said child. In one of the most heart-wrenching decisions I've ever seen a human being make, she chose to have it aborted. It was even tougher for her because of her religious/moral convictions.
Pro-lifers paint the world in black and white, then tell us that's the way of the world. When we disagree with that they get out their high-powered rifles and begin shooting.
Keep up the good work.
