Likewise!

Abuelita, go to a feed store and buy their littlest electric fence charger (about $40) and the wire and insulators for your fence. Get a roll of surveyor's colored plastic tape (festive colors, other uses too; maybe striped black and white is better for dogs, though), maybe $2? Set up the fence and charger, and BEFORE it's energized, tie foot long strips of the tape at intervals along the wire to mark it Use lowest current, turn it off when the kids are out playing.

Cheaper than wood, cheaper than one vet bill, and once they get out of the running away deal you might be able to cut the current and just replace the ribbon once in a while. Maybe you know someone with an old one at a farm or whatnot?

Don't use metalic shiney tape!

Kabu, I am listening to Cesar's Way on audio book to see if I can do

a better job of leading this motley crew. Dog books abound, but reading them and following them, well.....so, audio books talk to me while I drive or paint. Better.

Thank you for all that you do. Wiley is his own kind of Canadian treasure and we appreciate the way that you help him out and have befriended him. We all wanted to move him down the street from us to be his friend, but couldn't get up there to him. Mil gracias.
