- Go to WHEN CRAZY PEOPLE CALL
Mostly the crazy people who call me are phone sales types, and
they call during the day. Or as I'm about to eat supper. The number of wacko calls decreases the longer I have this number, but when I first got it, there were some interesting calls from folks looking for their old drinking buddy. Even Floyd has quit calling -- he used to call on payday nights, three sheets in the wind, looking for Lola whose number was apparently one digit off from mine.

Yes.....
I used to get them during the night and day. I got caller ID and found out
it was a male friend of mine's wife who thought something was going on with
us. She would never say anything, but would just call and hang up. I was
working two jobs at the time and had no time for this kind of thing, so I con-
tacted my attorney who handled it for me. A few months went by and she
started again, so I called the police and they answered the phone and told
her if she called one more time they were going to arrest her for harassment.
There are some nuts out there. Hope you got this straightened out. Good
luck.

Ariala yes there's always a crank out there somewhere.
Actually I did a couple of years ago. It woke me up and a woman asked me why I was messing around with her huband. All I could think of to say was "Pardon" Yes, it was a wrong number.

Because my Mann is australien
it's quite often that we get phone calls in the middle of the night. Sometimes it takes me a few minutes before realising who's at the other end. I must admit that I almost hang up on my brothers in law or my mom in law more than once....Then I suppose that
I would have been the crazy one...Tschüs.

Occasionally, I've gotten some lulus.
Once, when I was just playing around, I answered the phone at a friend's house. Thinking I would be just amusing as all get out, I picked up the phone and said "Conichiwah" (phonetic spelling), whihc apparently is Japanese for Good evening, or something like that.
As it turned out,the person on the other end was a Japanese businessman obviously lost in the airport, and he proceeded to unleash a torrent of excited and somewhat relieved Japanese at me. Yikes.
