It's so unfortunate...
...that people confuse artifice for the real thing. Excellent philosophical perspective you always have on life...and I totally agree.

Just awesome Sinome .... and true ...
closing their eyes and their ears they come back no more aware of the colors and joys of "life" when they come home. Truly a joy to read

I long for the sun and I long for a glimpse of the sea. I'd better go and sit by the river!

A day in the sun ~ your description here is so right on Marta --- and I could actually feel the sun crisping me ~ reminds me of a raisin the sun - a fruit ripening. This was so full of imagery and so much your wonderful, tender thoughtfulness ~ glad I came in to read a few minutes this morn

A timely reminder that summer is here........
having the sea on my doorstep does tend to make me rather take it for granted! An excellent read my dear Sinome; thank you and God bless

Everyone needs a day in the sun now and then, even if the memory does not stay with them when they return to the hectic busy lives they lead.

Sinome, my dear
The lover sees Helen’s beauty in an Ethiopian’s eyebrow. And that is just what you've seen in this fantastic description of Nature, and painted it for us who don't
