Go to Don't You Ever Take Your Life For Granted

- Go to Self Subotage... Why?
Always believe in yourself
We don't always get what we want in life. God doesn't want us to have everything. The things you should want are the things that cannot be taken away. The simple things in life, are those that should be valued most. A loving family and a few close friends are priceless. The rest is window dressing. If you can count something, it doesn't count. Material things can not be taken to the grave with us. The most important things are the things that you leave behind in the hearts of those that loved you. Make a mark in this world by touching the heart of others. God has a plan for all of us. Try not to do his job. Remember in the prayer of our father....."thy will be done". It is not your will, but his! Just live it! You are where God wants you to be.

It's hard not to take to heart condemnation and mental abuse.
I, myself, face it every day. To keep going, I take a nap,
somehow it replenishes my drive to enlighten and bring joy
to others through my creative expression. I'll be honest,
some days it is easier to hide in bed than get up and be
a target of their own self-hate.

Part of nature and nuture. Unfortunately, the world we live in today condemns more than encourages. It is not surprising that we "self sabotage".
Press on. You are blessed with a beautiful gift of writing and you touch the lives of others through your writing. Focus on the beautiful thoughts in life.
You are definitely worth it. JuzMe_

I agree we do sabotage ourselves by negative thinking.
Let's all consider ourselves a box of gifts!
