Troosha
Very thought-provoking, the imagery is just great, and the subject - very relevant. For me death is only a transition, and in line with what Kabu says, it is better (in fact more scientific ... may do a post) to be cremated than being buried. Sorry to have missed your poems the last few days. See, if I can catch up.

troosha this is wonderful
I ain't going in one of them places to sleep though. I just want to be cremated and my ashes scattered to the sea and the wind. I would be lonely in a forgotten grave or urn, I'll just wander free as I am here with Wiley in Canada.

Death is definitely a sleep.
A temporary sleep for us until Jesus comes. Thanks for such a great poem.

I think what we accomplish here in terms of good deeds will determine how restful we will be in death. This is thought provoking. I think this is one of those poems that could be posed again and then the comments could be compared; I would think that a different thought would occur each time. It seems to carry that much weight for me. sam

So very true. I like to think that our words, we wrote and shared with our readers will live on when what's left of us is only a stone, if that.

this is lovely. when someone dies, very rarely does anyone say - wow, that was such a successful/rich guy.. rather, they remember how the person treated them and others..
