Well Happy Birthday, Ariala (and one last opportunity for me to get in one of my famous verbose comments!) See? You did survive 40, and I hope life just gets better and better. As for this wish list of yours:

#'s 3, 4, 8, 9, and 10 are wishes you have within your power to make come true! Easy on the donuts!

 #'s 1, 2, and 5 however are a little over the top, don't you think? But, you could have a luckyhorseshoectomy, and ...these wishes could happen, maybe...possibly...if the lucky horseshoe is fitted in jusssssssssssssst the right place!  Still, iffy!

#6 is possible, but only if you are just naturally lucky. Example #1: the 100 year old who still lives at home, who still smokes, and has a drink or two every day at the cocktail hour! Example #2: Remember Jim Fixx, the runner? Ate right, ran every day. Passed the pinch-an-inch test...fell over dead...

#7 will never happen unless the earth is invaded by evil aliens from outside our universe...nah!...even then humankind would fight among themselves! Just cross that one off your list, and whatever you do don't worry about it! Stress kills!

Just do what you're doing...live in each moment, thank God for all your blessings, trust Him to provide for all your needs, and pray the Serenity Prayer every day! Wishing you a Happy Birthday and many, many more!    + X 2  muser

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I can provide the groundhog.

Contry-Style Groundhog

1. 1 groundhog
2. 1/2 c. flour
3. 1/4 tsp. salt
4. 1/4 tsp. pepper
5. 1/4 tsp. soda
6. 1/4 c. cooking oil
7. 1/2 tsp. sugar

 

NOTE:Clean and skin as soon as possible. Remove all sent glands. Cut off head, feet and tail. Cure in cool place by suspending from hook approximately 4 days. When ready to cook, lard according to recipe.

Dress groundhog as for rabbit, removing the small sacs in the back and under the forearm. Soak groundhog overnight in salted water to remove wild flavor. Combine flour, salt, pepper and sada; rub into groundhog pieces. Brown grounhog in hot oil in skillet; sprinkle with sugar. Reduce heat; add 1/2 cup water. Cover; simmer for about 30 minutes or until tender. Remove cover; cook for 10 minutes longer.
