One thing that surprises about your poetry is that I'm always looking for the end, and everytime I think I find it, there's more. And what surpises me about that is nothing is ever enumerated or repeated, but the furthering of images remain completley fresh. OK, so sometimes I scroll down to get to the end. Doesn't mean I'm not amazed.

This, my dear, is absolutely wonderful!  THIS is a winner!  The crazy thing here is that you were not trying to win anything.  You really spoke from your heart.  What a wonderful father you have desplayed here!  Bravo Darling, Bravo!!!!!!!!

Beautiful Celebration Always
Once again you remind me of a great classic. This time love I think of the fantastic Rogers and Hammerstein song from their really big Broadway hit musical of original songs "Carousel." Similarly, your song of Mermaid inspires and touches me.  A deceased father comforts his loved one invisibly in spirit. In contrast, the narrator's the loved one that he left behind in yours. In this way you offer a different point of view. The reality base of your poem inspires more personally than even the lyrics of the late great Oscar Hammerstein. Finally, I feel sorry that a  great working fisherman died at so young an age. He missed knowing his beautiful, talented, and charming daughter from her pre-teen to adult years. However I guess that the presence of God in heaven surpasses the relationships on earth. I understand that they become on the level of seeing loved ones again at a great feast

What a tribute! It made me cry, honestly. Thanks so much for your lovely comment on age. I am flattered and it just goes to show that age is nothing but the entry in your birth certificate. And who cares about paper!!
