Saul,

You don't know how much I appreciate the honesty of your reply! It is indeed refreshing to hear from a balanced person among the "Atheists."  Your austerity is to be admired. I can certainly understand a person having sincere doubts about the existence of God; I have had them myself, but I simply can not fathom anyone who claims to so intelligent, by inference, that he has absolutly No doubts at all!

Yours is by far the most informative response of them all to my question!  Thank you again, and please keep in touch.  Have a great day!!!

Your friend,

Gerald

That number is vastly inflated, my friend. I would be so bold as to say
that there are very few atheists aboard Blogit.  Consider this:  The CIA Factbook puts Christians at 78.5% of the American population (for argument's sake, we will not include other nationalities in this). Only 4% of the population is listed as "none."  Roughly that would be about 12 million people.  If Blogit were truly representative of the population, that would leave potentially 40,000 atheists on Blogit (if Blogit has a million members, which I sincerely doubt).  Unless they're hiding, and they could be, there isn't even a tenth or a hundredth of that number atheists on Blogit.  I consider myself an atheist (although the "true" definition of atheism may argue the point, but close enough).  I know there are a couple others on Blogit, but I believe that the number may be even less than 400...

Thanks again, Jesse, for your insight!

There is such a vast difference
Between one who say they are an atheist and are actually one. IT's almsot as wide as the gap between the extreme religious and the spiritual person who finds God and His handiworks in everything they see. I personally believe that the person who says there is no way there is a God, is actually seeking a way to find something or someone to believe in.

Re: don't have a clue
Thanks, Jesse!  Actually, I believe that there are far, far less Atheists than, by listening to their own propaganda, we would be led to believe - around 1% to 2% is much more believable. Even that small a percentage would still be a significant number compared to the number who actually speak out! Maybe, we should, rather than complaining, "count our blessings," instead! Reading just one bashing of the Bible or making "fun" of a "Fundie" per day is more than enough for me!

don't have a clue
as to why you haven't found them. Most of the peeps I read are believers, however, i have seen a few. I am a believer, but not a religionist, so to speak, ( i doubt that is even a word), however, I am very spiritual in a very firm in my belief that there is a Creator out there, somewhere.
