Thank you for the good wishes. I am nervous but hopeful that the surgury and the work afterward will allow me to walk again

What a positive post, mikes_goddess.  I so enjoyed reading it.  I hope your knee surgery and follow up therapy go well and that you will soon be without pain in that area.

I am sure trying. Tom and I went to check out a fitness club on Mother's day and we are getting a membership just as soon as we get that stimulous check from the government. Beats spending it all at WalMart

There is something very freeing about accepting that we all age and learning to actually enjoy the process. When I stopped worrying about my grey hair I found I had time to enjoy the good things about getting older. And we all have the honor of a life well lived, just some of us are putting off or waiting for that badge of honor.

I like your attitude. Especially about the grey streak..........wear it like a badge of honor for a life well lived. I have no such honor and continue to color/highlight/lowlight my hair. So, my hat is off to you.
