Taking my advice and going back to some of my older posts I see.
Thank you for reading my stuff.

As you can see this Blog did not start out as being political, but became so due to the election. It was suppose to be where I could go to talk about things I saw that I thought were just stupid, and so the idea of Bush getting a second term seem to fit that really well.

Why not use a headset?

I do and I don't agree with the dangers of using a mobile whilst driving.  Being on the road most of the day, my phone is my lifeline as it means I can keep in touch with the office and my suppliers and my customers; it also means I can ring home and check on Ali and the kids.  And I believe that when used properly, a mobile phone in the car is no more dangerous than eating a bar of chocolate or chatting with other occupants in your car: equally as distracting as taking a phone call, and worse because you'll often look at your passenger when driving, which you wouldn't do with the phone.

In the UK, a new law comes into place on December 1st that actually makes using the mobile phone all but illegal in the car.  You aren't allowed to touch the phone and it must be secured in place at all times; I believe you can push the answer call button, but that's about it!

Personally I use a bluetooth headset, rather than hold the phone myself.  I don't understand why drivers don't all invest in headsets these days - bluetooth is expensive, but they're coming down in price now (you can get them for about £20.00), or most manufacturers offer a cheap headset starting from about £10.  I made a comment on this in my Motoring Magic blog.

cell phone use while driving...
perhaps you should read my blog entitled, "I see through only one set of eyes"  my 101 word opinion.  I think it concurs with your piece.

Cell phones

I have been hit from behind because someone was too busy talking on their cell phone! The bad thing is that I am sometimes on call and have to answer my telephone while driving. I try to pull over if it is possible.
