What you post here is absolutely incredible.
I wrote about this yesterday---what it means to live according to an ideal. Sure, I didn't use quite the wording that you did here, but essentially you're saying the same thing. If you hold certain things to be true, then your beliefs and your behavior must fall in line. As you state here, choice has little, if anything, to do with it. Truth is this, and because of this truth, I must act in this manner. I don't see how choice has anything to do with it.

Wow RSM, You keep surprising me
Here I think you could not possibly sink to a lower
level of pure ignorance, and then you do it. You are an amazing person. And to
so openly flaunt this ignorance of yours show a high level of either bravery or
stupidity.
I have no problem at all with Christians and their
beliefs. Never have I once said I do. I have a problem with Christians forcing
their beliefs and pushing them as if they were the perfect and solved all the
problems as well as many of the issues surrounding how they go about expressing
their beliefs. Part of the point I was making, which obviously went way, way
over your head due to your preconceived attitude towards me, was that everyone's
beliefs should be respected as being part of who they are.
Also, I never said I was born an atheists and am
unsure as to where you got that idea from. I have talked about how in the past
when I was young I did foolishly believe in God and the Bible. But I grew up
and figured out who I was. It is just that being true to who I am means I am
unable to believe. And there is not only accurate science, but logic and
reasoning as well that fully backs up the idea of being born gay. But that is
rather off topic.
And I have no doubt you were born the opposite of
me. I am not an ignorant sheep, who allows others to think for me. So I take
it as a truly great compliment that you are able to see that I am nothing like
you.

kooka_lives - it is a sad state of affairs when a middle aged man nearly
wets himself laughing just from reading comments.
Yeah, that's it, you were born with the "atheist gene" . . . . maybe someday they'll find a cure?

Re: Okay, Okay, We Get It!
Oh, I get it! You were just born an atheist, right? That is just who you are. Sort of like what certain people would like us to believe in that homosexuals are born that way, right?
So, I was born the opposite, so what is your point?

Okay, Okay, We Get It!
Okay, you are an atheist we get it! Now what?
Below is what you stated:
"I find it strange that so many Christians have such a hard time accepting the idea that people's faith is so strong that they cannot change it at will."
The same can be said about Christians, so I find it strange why you have to state this fact about yourself everyday! Why do you have such a hard time with Christians and our beliefs? Let it be! GEEESH!
