Oh I know!
It is so emotional watching your kid grow up.  J started soccer when he was six.  I think it is wonderful how they organize it for young players and everyone gets a medal and cerificate.  THAT is what sports is all about, particularly at that age!!  It was so wonderful to see little people running about doing their bests at an organized game!  I loved it too!

Oozthuizen
I saw in this write one sweet thing, how much the mothers are worried about their kids.  It reminded me of my own son when he was a 2 yr old, I with some other friends of mine, made him play cricket with a cork ball. Although we would bowl underarm, many a times it would hit him in the leg and he would be in pain. His mother said I was cruel, but do you know, that he grew up to be a fearlessly fine cricketer, winning medals for his engineering college as Captain for the first time in 22 years. Dads are dads and boys are boys, and oh, mothers, mothers, always so loving and caring.

Rugby is a bone-jarring affair! Soccer is safer yet more challenging!
