If there exists a god, he or she or it will not give a damn whether or not
someone buys a vehicle.  Smacks of predestination.  Where's the free will that is supposed to infuse Christianity?  Besides, god dislikes doubters.  Make a reasoned decision.  If they didn't want to buy, they shouldn't be looking.  As Franklin said, "god helps those who help themselves."  Doubting your reason for being there shows poor cognitive skills.  You keep at them Tattered.  Maybe your statements make them angry, but in the long run they might be beneficial to those indecisive idiots that keep showing up...

knight..lol...sam beat me to the line I had in mind, but wait..I think
I better use the washroom....hmm, not sure...better pray on it....uh oh, too late..it was more than gas.... (I know this is a "slight" exaggeration, but we've known people who have had to pray about just about everything before making ANY decisions.., no matter how mundane...)

Knight, why don't you just offer your office , you could say,
"if you need to pray let me step out and close the door, how long would you like to pray for?"  As you are heading for the door.

But, logically speaking...
...your claim is just as legitimate as theirs.

That's funny
..... though I think that if you're not sure how much you can afford, you should pray on that before you reach the sales floor

Next time you do that and they get mad,
simply look at them and say, "Frankly, I don't think that's a very Christian attitude."

I use that one a lot, and it never fails to steam them off and most important, crack me up.

Crikey!
It's almost Australian to lose a customer for the sake of a joke!
