I think you hit the nail on the head with:
So, perhaps humans need a mix of quiet prayer and occasionally exuberance. An excellent post, my friend.

You really captured that "electric" feeling when an entire congregation is focused on one profound thought.

Very good blog here Punstar ~

--- I myself like it all --- worship, Praise, music, quiet ~ oh I find His blessings in just about any arena or part of life. It's all relative yes? The Pope blessed ground zero today? I did not see that. I must turn on my news more

- Have a wonderful day and week ~

Oh Neil, this is an exceptional composition. As you know I am of the quiet worshippers, I have on retreat and at times in church participated in exuberant worship, both are exhilarating. I think quiet worship can be sustaining because the present Christ is always my first consideration. Not conscious but as one would speak to a spouse or close friend and so forth. We share exuberant praise between us in our brotherly love for each other and our families. Please say hello to my beautiful, successful daughters in whom I take great pride and joy in. Thank you girls for sharing your lives with me! sam
