Awesome my dear Neil!
Sounds like this is your passion so well worth the blisters!  Thank you my poet for this and for visiting so graciously; take care of you and yours and God bless always

Fantastic, what a poem, punstar!
"As flowers (and women) move from cherry to peach to azalea!" I so very much liked this phrase.

Beautiful, punstar.  I can just see you singing as you work in your garden.  We have lots of cardinals here.  Often three pairs feed at my deck at the same time.  Lots of Canadian geese but no turkeys.  On the other hand, my niece and her family (seven children) are overrun with aggressive turkeys that attack the children when they are outside.  She has to keep a sturdy broom on the doorstep to fight off the turkeys and bring them to submission.

You have many dreams and poems of your youth
and I love your primal ones the best, dear Neil. The call of the land and hands in the dirt is as primal as we get! Dust to dust!  I would like to hear more about this farm you visit.  As a boy you used to eat fresh lemons seasoned with cayenne pepper, straight off the tree, I seem to recall. Andy Rooney needs to be told. Last week he said, in re: to a lemon, "You can't eat 'em." I snorted and said, "Not truuuuuue!!!!!"  I miss my farm, that simpler time of life, I could start anew. Thank you, my Neil, for putting the dream alive!
