Thanks yet again, Miz Mermaid11
I could say something trite, like "we've got to stop meeting like this," but i've already used that before.  Besides, I'm loving the attention and am about to add the mermaids and the color purple to my lists of favorite things.  You've definitely earned a spot in "My Favorites" on Blogit.

Interesting point, Whiskey
And I don't mind misspellings, even accidental ones, when they work.  I do, however, have problems with spell checkers that tell me correctly spelled words are wrong and pass misspelled words that happen to be the correct spelling of a word I did not choose to use.  On the other hand, spell check flags frequently send me to my dictionary.  This is good 'cause I usually get caught up in definitions (not always what I thought) and fascinating adjacent and nearby words.  It may be quirky, but it's fun.  And it's led to many a post on down the line.

Good point

I would go even further. The grammar dictionary ultimately reflkects common usage rather than the other way around. Therefore, with the exception of spelling, perhaps, if it's accepted by the general community you're not even really bending the rules. It's just the full expression of the language!

(I'll leave that spelling mistake there in the spirit of the post.)
