saul_relative - I still can't believe I did such a thing
Usually my practices are meticulous. Since there is nothing I can do to correct the situation, I'm just going to move on and re-install, re-list everything. The net result will be a much better directory with search capability.

Shams-i-Heartsong - this is a first on this scale for me
Losing files here and there, I think we have all done. When it gets a little more serious as in the case you describe, all I can say is that; I feel your pain.

Hate it when that happens
I lost important poems, pics etc when I backed them up to a cd but then did not check the cd before I reinstalled Windows bummer
