I think women
do have more to say. Although we just had a male houseguest from the US who talked a lot!  Sometimes I feel that all this chattering is because we don't feel we are heard - and this can happen to men and women.  Also, men it seems tend to share less than women.

What was I supposed to say?

Most men are just that way.  They never talk as much as women.

You never know...maybe they wanted to listen to what you had to say
about the shoes and the hairdresser.

Is it just not cool?
Are the guy worried about getting kicked out of the Man Club if they react to each other with too much enthusiasm, or is it that they really don't need the same sort of verbal interaction that women do?

Re: My opinion? Men think about and talk about things women
So is it really just two different methods to the same madness? (said with tongue in cheek)

My opinion? Men think about and talk about things women
folk are not supposed to be privy to ... women on the other hand talk about the same things, but we know how to make small talk until we get each other alone ... "filler".
