Little

warm creatures

inspire

hearts, minds

hatred is such a lost cause

when there

are mice and hamsters

waiting to inspire

our little creature

cause

resting

inside

those bottles

stacked on a patio

the mice, nest

nightly

they get eaten

by snakes

yet

they never leave

the bottle

is their home

being eaten

alive

is part of their life cycle

But that is one seriously cute little hamster. I can see a lot of what he's eating going into his cheeks. LOL.

Too bad there isn't an effective mouse repellent but almost any smell that repels rodents works on humans, too. :)

My grandchildren have Herb, Herb, Herbie.....and he runs from his cage into the t.v. room to grab a carrot and then runs back to his cage....squeaks when they come in the door from school.

I think that he is a guinea pig.

I see that tiny little bit of life in the hand in the video and I know that absolutely all life on earth is precious.

I think that your fellow may actually live longer and stay healthier if you do cut down on the extra goodies. So precious is their friendship.

how cute is that!
I love my teddy bear hamster ... he's maybe a titch too fat from all the goodies.  Sadly they only live a couple of years, but they are such a treat!
