- Go to Wire haired terriers sweep up burrs with their coats. She escaped.
Burrs? You want burrs?
My mini-werewolf Tarbaby, was named for his proclivity to bring the "Great Outdoors, indoors. Lately, he has been trying to tangle with our resident half-white, half-black skunk (Barak) that has been making nightly raids on the feline diner, our pump house. Would you like to invite Baby to a sleep-over with your dog? We wouldn't charge you anything, in fact it might be worth our while to offer you compensation. No matter how effective that anti-skunk odor neutralizing shampoo is, it probably won't help if he gets wet, and lays next to my face at night! PHEW!

Re: They are wonderful dogs. They just look scarey as hell as they age.....
I met one. Aloof, scarey, and very "alpha"...a female!
Tell your local sdhelter you'd like to foster one. The pups ought to be cute...maybe.

I just love your posts. Now never mind the work involved, those dogs give
you a reason to be busy which we all need.

They are wonderful dogs. They just look scarey as hell as they age.....
Their old teeth move around and their tongues protrude more (they appear to have boxer tongues) and they are prone to cataracts....they make me laugh, actually.
Just think, no dog hair, no bringing in tons of dirt from wrestling outside....sounds like heaven to me.
Scarey photos are of mistreated doggies online, I think....majroj. OR, maybe their are more like the goshdarned nasty chihuahuas that some people have. My daughter's neighbors who have one say that she is wonderful, just needs lots of creams, etc....sun care protection and sweaters in the cold weather.
