I grieve with you, my friend.
What if, no matter how lost you felt, the path you sought always lay beneath your feet? What if, no matter how alone you seemed, there were always adoring friends perched upon your shoulder? Would you then begin to understand the meaning of "Thy Kingdom Come"? (I am passing on a universal truth) You are where you are supposed to be and WHEN you are supposed to be. I love you.

Dear Neil--I am so sorry for te losses you have had to contend with! You
know-so many times I ask the questions you ask! One of them is your internal feelings of -"What's it all about? Is it worth it? Why the young one and not me? Is it my turn next? Is that what I'm waiting for?" None of us can predict or know or try to understand
WHY! Whenit is 'our' turn-yours-mine etc-it will happen and I suspect-when no one least expects it! Carry on-you Have to-just as you are! Be angry-Grieve and with the passing of time you will continue-continue to LIVE! Every minute! Not WAITE---God bless you my friend-shalom.Chris.

Oh, my dear Niel, I know that your mother is aright with you being in America with your daughters. She had asked you to come to America to be with them. She knew of the great distance it would be as well. I think if you forgive yourself for not being there it will ease the pain. The most important is that you are a great son because you honored her wishes. You could not be in two place at once, she knew that too! I am so sorry for your losses, it is so difficult to understand when children are killed. I have no answers but your, you family and family's friends are in my prayers. God bless my dear friend and stay stronger. sam
