Re: Jesus as opposed to Obama
The Jesus comment was the author's, not mine - the article comes complete with a link for fact checking.

Jesus as opposed to Obama
That was a very interesting piece, but I disagree with you on something.  As mighty and as reverent and might I add as wise as Jesus is, do you actually think he would have walked out of that church and not told that group of prospective but very misguided people (whom he cares for and loves so much that he gave up His own life for) where they were going wrong? Indeed, I totally disagree.  So, in this case I don't think that we should be so quick to say what we "THINK" that Jesus would do.  You seem to be comparing this mere politician to someone who has power and authority over life and death when you stated yourself that you cannot even compare him to Rev. Doctor M. L. King Jr.  Just a thought...

Re: shelly,
for the record, Obama didn't even turn up at the MLK commemoration yesterday. So much for his dream.

TAPS,
stop feeding the keyboard! Seriously though, I will not rest until this farce of a candidate falls down the has-been chute. Let's be real - finding a politican who does not lie is like finding a needle in a haystack. but I will not sit back and watch this inept clown tear America in two.

NewYorker, I can talk again.  I found an old keyboard in my closet and attached it.  I hope that all of your efforts are not in vain.  But, I know you will fight to the finish, whatever it brings.

I have read may of your articles and this one is the very best. The facts speak for themselves. I have always held Dr. King in high esteem. It is so unfortunate that his dream doesn't fall in to place but has become a mere referenced title.  sam

Well written.  Good thought on a very complex subject.
