Comment on Rejected---AGAIN.
It's very difficult, as a writer, to have to sing your own praises as your agent, also.  Persevere.joab

Re: FineYoungerSinger,
glennb, thank you so much...your sincere compliment is what I use to remind myself that rejection letters truly are not personal.  Thanks for the kind words!

FineYoungerSinger,
Based on your writings that I get to read here for pennies it is their loss! I know that sounds gratuitous but it needed to be said!

Re:
ubrut, thanks for reading!  And as far as your 'niche', that is what the submission process finds.  I hope you do find a venue for your work---there are so many markets out there, someone will be right for you!  Good luck!

Re:
I've been published in other markets---it's a very competitive business.  The writer that makes it to publication is the writer that is willing to spend the money on postage!

My grandmother has always said the same thing (She's always urged me to write, but I'm far to much of a coward to actually TRY and submit anything anywhere... Mostly because I have no real 'niche'). I think it's an excellent outlook to have. It's realistic, positive, and keeps your goals as a writer in clear view. Now if I can only apply this knowledge, lol

My hats off to you!!!

Good for you, fys...I haven't been published yet either but I know it will happen even if I get a ton of rejection letters first.  Stay positive!
