To show you how much change is needed and how resistant to change
old-line power structures are, just look at the voting process. With all the technology we have, building a simple system of identification and one person/one vote would be as nothing. It is the control of that system (and thereby elections) by the power brokers that thwarts, halts, or eliminates the implementation of a simple, workable solution.
