Well I am lucky broadcast TV

doesn't come in well in my area - I guess because they focus now on other ways of delivery. So I have been watching DVDs and all my old VSHs for the last couple of years. Yes, I love Netflex and I have even found a lot of website with decent video like www.veoh.com

UGH! I had digital cable for a while. To get anything worth watching you have to buy a movie pack, and the majority of the movies suck eggs. I don't think they have an excuse!!!!!

because he assured me that with 150+ channels to pick from, we'd never be without good TV again.

He was wrong--like TAPS, we still struggle to find anything worth watching. The only difference: it take a lot longer to scroll through the channels and figure out that there's nothing worth watching.

I keep wondering if it's because of the writers strike, but I think that's been settled...what's their excuse now?

FineYoungSinger, with 300+ cable channels to pick from, I still have trouble finding something to interest me when I'm in the mood for TV. Round and round the channels I go with the control.
